About this service
Sante Fe Film Services, is a production services company that has produced major Hollywood productions over a forty year span around the world such as “Get Shorty”, “House of Cards” and “We’re the Millers” and most recently, a Warner Brothers Production titled, “Roswell New Mexico, Season 3” to be aired on The CW, Fall 2021.
The Opportunity
The producers were in search of a statue that represented a deceased character for a stage prop on the “Roswell New Mexico, Season 3” set.
Faced with a tight timeline and that most fabrication studios in the US were either overwhelmed, closed, or out of business due to the pandemic, 3DSW was able to work with Santa Fe Film and meet their deadline and demonstrate on a wide stage the capabilities 3DSW has to offer.
The Process
Starting with a headshot of the actor, a 3D image was created and utilized to then cut from EPS foam utilizing our 3D CNC mill to make the lifesize, lightweight, realistic statue.
